As a ministry of Grace Baptist, Grace House exists to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission. ​

​Grace house will strive to be a safe and clean living environment where believers can engage in life-on-life discipleship and  receive training for local church ministry in a multicultural context; furthermore, the desire is to expose non-believers to the Gospel message through the lives and verbal witness of the believers living in the house. 

   Prospective tenants:
  • Gainfully employed young men who profess faith in Christ and are interested in Muslim/urban ministry, committed serving in GBCH. 
  • ​Gainfully employed young men who profess faith in Christ and are looking for more intense life-on-life discipleship, committed to serving in GBCH.
  • Gainfully employed unbelieving young men who require lower-cost housing as a bridge to stable, independent living situation.
  • ​Gainfully employed believers actively serving in a Gospel-based ministry who are not like-minded with GBCH. 

Hamtramck  History 

Hamtramck was a bustling center of Polish-American culture throughout the 20th century. With time, the city became more diverse and multicultural, welcoming new immigrants from various regions, including Yemen, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. This led to a historic moment in 2013 when Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the United States. In 2015, the city became the first Muslim-majority city council in the country.
