GRACE HOUSE

"Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain…” Psalm 127:1a
MISSION
Grace house will strive to be a safe and clean-living environment where believers can engage in life-on-life discipleship and receive training for local church ministry in a multicultural context; furthermore, the desire is to expose non-believers to the Gospel message through the lives and verbal witness of the believers living in the house.
OPPORTUNITIES
Grace house provides an environment where those hoping to go into ministry can grow and learn through serving at Grace Baptist, Grace House and the city it serves. Grace house provides a place for students in seminary to be able to put what they are learning in practice.

For single Christian men it provides an affordable housing while being a part of a biblically sound church. Being discipled while getting on their feet.

Lastly Grace house provides a place for the nonbeliever to hear the gospel and be get on their feet - all while living in close proximity to believers.

HOUSE DESIGN
The house is designed to be led by an in-house Christian leader who helps make sure the house is run smoothly alongside the other believers that live there.
The house leader is there to lead Bible study and be pouring into the other guys at the house.

All believers in the house need to be living intentionally with one another, in service to the lost, and in fellowship (membership at Grace Baptist).

All men believer or non-believer are required to follow house rules, pay rent on time, meet with house overseer (deacon) once a quarter to discuss life goals. Goals include spiritual and life goals.

Hamtramck  History

Hamtramck was a bustling center of Polish-American culture throughout the 20th century. With time, the city became more diverse and multicultural, welcoming new immigrants from various regions, including Yemen, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. This led to a historic moment in 2013 when Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the United States. In 2015, the city became the first Muslim-majority city council in the country.
